Pack Hike at Prouty Woods Community Forest

On Saturday, March 27th at 1pm we will embark on a hike through Prouty Woods. We have done this hike with snow on the ground, and now we should be able to explore the woods.  Please dress accordingly and have the Scouts bring their 6 Essential items. We will hike through some farmland, look out from the observation area at the top of the hill (beautiful view of the surrounding area on a clear day), and back down along Long Lake as we complete our loop. I would suggest hiking boots/snow boots as areas of this could be wet due to the season. In terms of difficulty, it should be relatively accessible to all hiking levels--mostly rocks, roots, and a couple of steeper parts (nothing too difficult).
