Hello all,
Membership dues have been set by the committee at $250 per scout for this year ($235 if opting-out of Scout Life magazine). We did not increase the dues last year, but BSA and the Heart of New England Council do increase their fees every year, and we have had to increase ours to keep up.
New scouts registered after August 1, 2023 are following a new process that BSA is introducing, and will pay (or have already paid) their first year's BSA and Council fees online at my.scouting.org. For those families, we deduct those fees (other than the $25 new member fee) from our dues, leaving $75 per scout to be paid to Pack 1. This is used by the Pack to cover BSA and HNE Council fees related to our adult volunteers, and other administration costs.
