About The Event
Do you remember the Geocaching event we did last year? Well we are going to build on our emerging Geocaching skills by doing the Treasure Hunt Geocache course at Acton Arboretum! We’ll divide into teams and make a fun competition out of it. Note that there is no Geocaching experience or special apps needed to participate. If you can put an address into your cell phone, you can play! Here are some details:
Where: Acton Arboretum, 2 Taylor Road, Acton. Meet in parking lot.
When: 2:00pm Saturday January 8th. The course should take about an hour to complete.
What to Bring: A cell phone (you give your Scout your phone to navigate with … if you dare!)
What to Wear: Dress for cold. Warmth is more important than uniforms. Hat, gloves, etc. The trails are easy but may be frozen; hiking boots are optional.
