Nobscot Scout Reservation

1 Nobscot Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776

Reservations Managed by Mayflower Council

  • Tent Sites available. Hayden Lands Tent Sites are best for Cub Scouts, as they are close to the parking lot (less than half a mile walk).

  • Cabins available. Legion Cabin is the largest cabin, holding around 50.  It is heated by a small wood stove - get there early, to get the cabin warmed up. It is just under a 1 mile walk.

 

Nobscot is an excellent camp for Cub Scouts and is an easy drive from Acton (under 30 minutes).  There is an extensive trail network, and some viewpoints with sight of Boston.

Camp Collier

198 Camp Collier Rd, Gardner, MA

Reservations Managed by the Collier Trust

  • Tent Sites available. Nipmuk tent site is our most frequent destination. Tenting is also permitted around the Parade Field, Mess Hall, and Chapel.

 

Collier is a former scout camp located on the shores of lake Wampanoag.  It has a large open Parade Field for games, ample fishing opportunities.  In case of possible inclement weather, a Mess Hall may be available for additional cost.

  • Space for games and activities

  • Not very busy

New England Base Camp

New England Base Camp is an active Scout Reservation.  They offer a variety of amenities and activities. All activities are at extra cost with purchase of wrist band.

Camp Resolute

Camp Resolute is located roughly 15 minutes away, in Bolton, off of Route 117.  The camp surrounds a lake and has cabins as well as tent sites.  Some tent sites are far out; however proximity to 495 means that you do hear the highway.
